CrossFit Kids Winter Session

Calling all kids ages 5 - 12

Our winter session for Kids (aged 5 to 10) and Pre/Teens (aged 10-14) will be kicking off mid-January, registrations now open.

Our timetable will keep the same schedule as we did for the fall for our CrossFit Kids. Twice a week Thursday evenings at 6pm and Saturday mornings at 9am. Andrew Forward and Grant McSheffrey will be running the program, with other coaches around to help as needed.

We will continue our Pre/Teen class for our older (and more mature) athletes ranging from around 10 - 14 years old. They will be have an after school class at 4pm on Thursdays, and we will all workout together in the full gym on Saturday at 9am.

For our CrossFit Kids, our focus will be on jumping, rolling, squatting, climbing, and playing. No barbells, and not much “stuff in their hands”…. mostly just familiarizing themselves with their own body, how it moves and improving coordination and balance.

Much of the same for our CrossFit Pre/Teens, but now we will start to introduce some lifting including deadlifts, cleans, jerks, and squats.
